WHAT IS STUDY BYTE ?
XSEED Study Byte is a series of bite-sized learning units for every concept a child should learn from Nursery to Grade 8. HOW TO USE A STUDY BYTE
1 CHOOSE
Choose a Study Byte within English, Mathematics, or Science. The title of each Study Byte will give you a clear idea of the concept it covers, and you can click it for a more detailed description. The Study Bytes are placed in a recommended sequence, but they may be done in any order.
2 READ
Read the age-appropriate, illustrator content pages to build reading comprehension, vocabulary, and conceptual understanding. Follow the weblinks for more resource on the topics.
3 WATCH
Watch short animated films for an engaging entry point into the topic, featuring engaging storylines with animated characters or live action visuals.
4 SOLVE
Think and write answers to the questions in the worksheet to apply and reinforce the concepts covered in Read and Watch.
5 PRACTICE
Each Study Byte comes with a number of questions to practice the concept further, which your child can answer on their own in the notebook.
6 PROJECT
Finish the Study Byte by applying what has been learned to a real-life problem through an interesting, hands-on experience. Many projects require interacting with family or community members. You may do these projects together with your child, or they may complete them independently.
